Position Description:
Customer service representatives are often the first point of contact for customers. They provide excellent customer service and manage customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback. Customer service representatives are expected to provide answers to customer questions, resolve customer issues, and accurately document all customer interactions.
An organized, self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills is the ideal candidate for this role. Customer service principles and practices should be understood in order to meet customer needs. You have to have the ability to handle customer inquiries quickly and calmly.
Customer service skills are important in this role as you will be talking to customers on a daily basis. You need to be able to communicate effectively, listen attentively, and understand customer concerns. To ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, you must be able to develop relationships with customers.
Customer service representatives are often dealing with multiple customers at the same time, so they need to be organized and efficient. Maintaining a high level of accuracy requires that you be able to juggle and prioritize tasks. You need to be able to think quickly, problem solve, and make decisions in a timely manner.
You must have strong computer skills and be comfortable working with customer relationship management software. You have to be proficient in data entry, database management, and other computer related tasks.
